Rules

Regular Season

Picks and Points

For each game you choose which team is going to win and you put a point amount on it. The point amount is how much you will receive if the team you chose to win actually won. The point amounts must ascend from 1 by 1 until they reach the number of games to be played in that week. For example, one week may have 16 games. Choose the winners and then put the game you are most confident about at 16 and go down to 1 as your confidence in your pick decreases. Points earned in each week determine the winner of the week, but are kept in a running total for the season.

Bets

Each week costs $3. Then everybody makes their picks and the games are played. The person who earned the most points wins $1.50 of everyone's $3. The other $1.50 of everyone's $3 goes into a pool of money for the entire season.

Playoffs

First Rounds

Up until the Super Bowl make your picks like normal. Except the point values are squared to put extra importance on your order. It costs $4/round and the winnings are split 50-30-20.

Super Bowl

For the Super Bowl we do a questionnaire of 30 questions. The questions usually include the winner, higher-ranked QB, score, and player-specific questions. It costs $15 and the winnings are split 60-30-10.
